The RedLaw team is excited to be taking part in this year’s London to Brighton cycle challenge to raise much needed funds for the Providence Row charity. Roxanne, Adam and Jon are the fabulous three who are taking part and the boys have already thrown themselves into the training for the 54 mile journey which takes place on 11th September. Roxanne, a cycling novice, has even signed up to the challenge without owning a bike. But rest assured, there’s one on order soon to be delivered so she too can join in on the training days! Now that is dedication to the cause!
We are thrilled to extend our support and take part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride Challenge and hope to raise some vital funds to help with the many valuable programmes the charity runs for the City’s homeless.
For homeless people, or those at risk of homelessness, finding employment and housing opportunities can seem an uphill battle, even more so if they are affected by physical, mental health or substance misuse issues.
Providence Row works with more than a thousand homeless and vulnerably housed people every year in East London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice, recovery and learning and training programmes.
Their aim is to ensure that people who are so often excluded from mainstream services gain the support and opportunities they need to create a safe, healthy and sustainable life away from the streets.
Roxanne, Jon and Adam would like to thank you all for your kind and generous donations and we will keep you up to date on our training and progress on the JustGiving blog in the run up to the challenge on 11th September. Your donations really will make a difference to many lives, so, again, thank you so very much for your support.
